Well, the "General's" staff car just arrived...super quickly. It is more 1/48 than 1/32 scale, but that works fine as I intentionally use underscale accessories for toy soldier games and set ups...they take up less room. I'll convert a driver, ADC and general from BMC figures, and paint it similar to this one from the Phillipines.
The Army Quartermaster book recommends a cocktail of 9 prts lead white, to 1 part raw umber, and some thinner and japan dryer. Using acrylics titanium white and raw umber cut with alcohol should do the trick. Nez pas?
