a new, still in the box MEGO toy!? Wow.  If it was unpacked ever, it was put back in the box perfectly... this would have made someone's Christmas Morning memorable.

Modiphius' new Star Trek RPG is a big glossy expensive hardback book set. It is also pretty popular. I don't care about the rules though, I think Starships and Spacemen is an ideal offering for the genre. But I AM intrigued by these boxed sets of TOS figures in classic "armymen" 54mm size. This works well with 1/48, 1/35, and 1/32 scale models. The full line concenrates heavily on Next Generation era, but these two sets of TOS figures are good.

circa 1978, Heritage brought out the first Star Trek RPG, under a strange license arrangement involving Lou Zocchi and Franz Joseph and not directly from Paramount, with the Motion Picture coming to,screens lawyers for Paramount smelled money in the wind and decided to tighten up the licenses for the previously haphazard and baroque property, Heritage-Custom Cast had just tooled the miniature line and entered production, causing a legal mess and financial disaster for the garage sized company.
