I did get a model of a field kitchen for the Fabulouth Armee. not quite the one I wanted, but it cost almost 20 dollars more than the model I chose. so economy prevailed.
my Pelosi Check came in last night. Today I'm effectively broke. Brakes need work, so tomorrow at *8* am, I have to take ol' bessy down to the shop. I split some money with deb to lay in food supplies (preparing in case a second wave takes down the economy) I really expect there to be food shortages by winter. I paid some money I owed on bills, bought medicine. I gave myself a nice mad money wad...but it evaporated so fast m head spun. I got about a 1/4 of what I'd hoped I could get. :( a few books, three models, and that was it.
So wrapped up medieval village and town, moving on to the Potempkin, an old Maly Modelarz model. I reduced it from 1/200 to my naval scale of 1/400. Here is the skeleton cut down to waterline.
With today's builds, I wrapped up the last pieces of Iian Ashman's Medieval City and Medieval Village...except for the figures and wagons. so I now have a crate of medieval buildings. Tomorrow I begin work on the Navy of the Polyester Freestate...
