“Failure” is often used as a dirty word by gamers, but this is one of the ways in which gamer culture often gets things wrong. If you fail and try again, that’s essentially practice for success.
But not always. This video isn’t about playing games, it’s about someone who made games, but failed. They experienced a lot of initial success, but due to wholly external circumstances, still failed, in spite of being ahead of their time in a lot of ways. As is often said, it’s possible to do everything right and still fail.
Such failures should be more closely and widely examined than successes.
(This video is very well made, and I’d encourage anyone to watch H. Bomberguy’s other vids, too.)
