My latest model for the Fabulouth Armee is a new tank for the Curassiers, or Heavy Cavalry regiments.  I'm going with a Vickers Independant.  I hollowed out a 3d print, and I've made up a mold, so when I get some metal (hopefully by spring) I can cast a bunch up next summer.  at least ONE regiment.  Model kits are not common, and the one Resin garage kit I could find was nearly a hundred dollars.  I then spent hours searching my usual suspects for a paper model version and had no luck, but I found a 3d stl file.  Where there's an .stl file, there's someone who will print it....

Spent some quality time in the workstudio, second half of two new molds; one for the British Independant tank, and one for the field kitchen (gulash cannon), with some turrets.  then I hollowed out the bottoms of two 3d print tanks for mold making (hollowed out reduces the metal they require by nearly half),  suddenly a great crack echoed from somewhere under my butt, and next I knew I was thrown to the ground.  the swivel chair I was sitting in gave up the ghost (it was out there because it was on its way to the dump anyhow), I'm OK, just kinda bruised up, more surprised than anything, adr

I love the phrase "Dank Ferrik" from Mandalorian...  It sounds like the name of a gas station attendant with super powers.  and conjurs the mental image of wet ferrets...
