I have always thought my last name seemed somewhat unusual, Lyons sounds like a plural word, unusual in a last name, though Lion, Leon, Lyon, are more regular versions...but perhaps it originates in the French city of Lyons somehow...but at any rate I don't see very many in phone books.
imagine my surprise as I was looking for antique signage for model making and found all these products! I would love to know the rlationships and origins of the people carrying the surname and the history of these products...

These descriptions could be word for word from letters written in the Petersberg Lines, or at Chatanooga.
