Black Sails is brilliant, the writing, I mean. It is a pirate tour de force, and a symphony on power, plot, leadership, violence... I am wowed. It's the pirate show I always wanted, save maybe for a bit overdone sex scenes in the first season...it is perfect.  Also the title credits model...is art.
