So, the Far Tottering and Oyster Creek Railway is a work of art by the famed british special effects modelmaker Rowland Emmit; the genius behind much of the wonderful "steampunk" visuals in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
So, I was able to aquire a PZL-11 polish gull wing fighter, and a Lublin XIII recon-bomber for the polyestrine air force, and check out this ground crew; 1940s dinky figures; sort of actual vetrans of the Battle of Britain...
As a distraction from recent events, I've elected to participate in this minor challenge to create new characters—one for each day of January—released a few days at a time. For days seven through 10, I did these characters for Star Frontiers (Cook, TSR Hobbies, et al., 1982), one for each of the four playable character species (human, dralasite, vrusk and yazirian).
